Tidiness and Order
It is an educational fairy tale about tidiness and order, the importance of washing hands so that no dirt, bacteria, and viruses could cause diseases. After all tidiness is a companion of health!
The action takes place in the Land of Tidiness and Order, where Queen Hygiene lives. Her duty is to make sure that everyone would learn to love tidiness and order so that the body, clothes, footwear would be taken care of well. She and Miss Health encourage everyone to engage in sports, eat healthy food, spend less time sitting in front of a computer and spend more time in nature. They receive help from their biggest helpers: Water, Soap, Shower, and Shampoo. The fairy tale teaches children of the Clean Hand Dance: how to wash hands properly. Unfortunately not all characters of the fairy tale obey Queen Hygiene. Pilypas’ clumsiness put the entire country in danger as the country was attacked by viruses and visited by Diseases. Luckily, the country was saved by the guards of Health.
Creation of the fairy tale was ordered by Vilnius Territorial Health Insurance Fund. The readers of magazine “Tipu Tapu” are welcome to make their own fairy tale – mini book by taking out the middle page of the magazine, bending and cutting the page and putting the small pages to a mini book.
The fairy tale was illustrated by painter Eglė Šablevičiūtė-Gaigalienė.
